The ambience were quite good, with the sound of water gushing through from the miniature fall set in the restaurant, only to be disturbed by drilling sound of a renovation work upstairs. Actually, we wanted to try one of the nearby restaurant, however the set up does not attract us.
Man ordered Ice Lemon Tea shake so does Nor, while Amir ordered Kopi 'O'
Man : Lets talk about the price hike.
Nor : For me, the outcome of the whole situation make me realise to be more carefull on what we do and how we cook. Therefore enough for all and no wastage.
Amir : Thats good, within my family, we have started quite awhile back, as we approach this situation. Most importantly, whether we like it or not, it's a crisis world over.
Nor : Now we make sure when we prepare food for the family, its just enough for us. However, should anyone visit, we won't have any for them. A friend of mine, prepare A la Carte for the family, therefore no extra.
Man : Who visit without informing.
Amir : Well sometime people do, but they should not expect anything when you come unannounce, just "air sejuk". This morning my helper said that there's no food to cook, when I actually bought quite a lot at the market last saturday. Probably the amount paid does not equate the quantity.
Man : Yeah, that's what the present situation of price increase has lead to. I think we need to change the way we do things.
Nor : We need to look at changes that need to be made like the way we eat, our behaviour, spending and how we value things.
Man : Some people just complain, and be critical, they don't even look at solution, its always the other person's fault, never their own.We should make more money.
Amir : I agree, the way forward is to make more money, add on to what we have. Yet when we talk about making money, this people who do not have enough come out with excuses.
Man : As long as you want to maintain your lifestyle, you need to increase your income. With more income, you will not be "bothered" with price hike as you have the fund.
